Dear Parents,
I am very excited to announce that the 3rd-6th grade HIS Choir Club is now open for enrollment. All forms with payment (40,000 UGX) must be received by Monday, January 11th.
Choir Description:
We will rehearse in the music room twice a week, on Thursdays and Fridays. The Thursday rehearsal will be during their lunchtime recess, from 12:00-12:30. Friday rehearsals are from 3:15- 4:30 pm. Students will learn a variety of music to perform in school and evening concerts. Students who participate receive a t-shirt (to be worn at concerts), an award of commendation, and an end of the year party.
Below are some Spring 2011 performance dates. We have been invited to perform with the Kampala International School Choir Festival in March, but since the dates are not set yet I can’t promise we will be able to participate. I hope to have the details by the end of next week. The international school music teachers hope have some “choir tours” with other schools, and possibly a community performance!

Please review these rules with your child.
A chorus member has the following responsibilities:
- To participate fully in the concerts, rehearsals and chorus events for the year.
- To act appropriately and professionally during chorus rehearsals, concerts and field trips (you as the student represent the school!)
- To arrive at practices on time and have transportation available promptly at 4:30 pm for Friday rehearsals.
