The secondary curriculum at Heritage is focused on two international standards, the SAT and the
IGCSE. A student completing their studies at Heritage will be able to move into further
studies at educational institutions worldwide.
The International General Certificate of Secondary Education
(IGCSE) is a secondary school assesment that has been designed for
14 to 16 year olds. It prepares students for further studies at the
A and AS Level of study, and it also prepares students with the skills needed
for employment. IGCSE is equivalent in standard to the
British GCSE and is recognised by academic
institutions around the world.
The SAT is an assesment test that is used by many US academic institutions
for admission into their post secondary programs. The test is also recognized
by post secondary institutions worldwide. The SAT is designed to asses the
thinking capability of the students in various areas.
